Jazz music in NY is powerful. It creates a magnetic field that attracts musicians and audiences to an amalgam of passion, energy and genius. The festival concept idea came out of a “sound and atmosphere moodboard" I did in a special jazz place in NY, where I went to see some friends play. NY Jazz Fest 2023 invites people to enter the magnetic field of jazz and feel the power that has been driving worldwide musicians and audiences to NYC for decades.
