Jazz music is a powerful force in NYC. It creates a magnetic field that attracts musicians and audiences from around the world. The festival concept idea came out of a “sound and atmosphere moodboard" I did at a jazz venue where a couple of friends were playing. The energy, passion and genius were a true portrait of NYC jazz scene. NY Jazz Fest 2023 invites people to enter the magnetic field of jazz and feel the force that has been driving people to the city for decades.
